My name is Luna. I’m a photographer.
自己紹介をお願いします。
私の名前はルナです。フォトグラファーをしています。
COULD YOU TELL US BRIEFLY ABOUT YOUR CAREER?
I didn’t study photography because all the good schools are private in Paris, but I don’t regret it at all! The disadvantage as well as the advantage of not having gone through school is that I knew nothing about technique, so I wasn’t boxed in by this aspect. This made it possible for me to concentrate on emotions and human encounters. Since I didn’t have a studio available, I started shooting photos from my balcony, and that’s where I discovered natural light. I didn’t grow up surrounded by photographers, and so I was lucky to be completely free to listen to myself.
キャリアについて簡単に教えてください。
私は写真の学校には通いませんでした。というのも、パリの優れた写真学校はすべて私立で、高額だったからです。でも、そのことに後悔はまったくありません。
写真学校に通わなかったことで、技術的な枠組みにとらわれず、むしろ感情や人との出会いに集中することができました。スタジオが使えなかったので、最初は自宅のバルコニーで撮影を始めました。そしてそこで、自然光の魅力に気づいたのです。周囲に写真家がいたわけではなかったので、完全に自由に自分の感性に従うことができたのは幸運でした。
WHAT DO YOU LIKE BEST ABOUT PARIS?
I love Paris for the energy it gives off, because the young people in Paris I rub shoulders with always want to create more, to throw themselves into new projects, meet new people, and we have a lot to say.

パリの持つエネルギーが大好きです。私が関わるパリの若者たちは、常に新しいものを創り出そうとしていて、新しいプロジェクトに飛び込み、人と出会い、伝えたいことがたくさんある――そんな情熱に満ちています。
