TAKE GOOD CARE

Because a well-maintained leather product can have multiple lives, here are some tips to take care of yours. Care products, usage precautions, repairs — let's go over the essentials.

SMOOTH LEATHER

In leather goods, as in many other areas, what is precious is also delicate. Smooth leather, considered one of the most prestigious types, is no exception. Despite all precautions, it tends to show marks over time.

The good news: with proper care, smooth leather develops a beautiful patina that blends and enhances signs of wear.

To nourish it, we recommend applying a universal cream twice a year to both clean and condition the leather. This will help it age gracefully while maintaining its suppleness.

For deep marks or scratches that expose the raw leather, recoloring will be necessary. You can contact superman@rsvp-paris.com or bring your product to our store for assistance.

GRAINED LEATHER

Less delicate than smooth leather, grained leather also requires less maintenance. The mechanical grain applied during the tanning process creates a slight texture on the surface, making the leather more resistant to everyday marks.

However, occasional care is needed to ensure it ages in the best possible conditions. Just like smooth leather, we recommend applying a universal cream* twice a year to nourish and clean the leather. This will help it age more gracefully while maintaining its suppleness.

In case of deep marks or scratches exposing the raw leather, recoloring will be necessary. To do so, you can contact superman@rsvp-paris.com or bring your product to our store.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Leather generally does not like water. Be sure to keep it away from rain and humidity, and dry it with a soft cloth if it gets wet.

We do not recommend using wax, skin moisturizers, or leather sprays, except for suede, which may require a specific waterproofing treatment.

CARE AND REPAIS

Repairs such as restitching, edge dye touch-ups, or the replacement of damaged metal parts are offered during the first year following purchase.

Beyond this period, we will provide you with a quote based on the necessary repairs.
