Luna Harst

This is Luna, a young Parisian self-taught photographer of Italian origin. Luna loves at least three things in photography: the model, light, and colors. She uses photography as a medium to share her vision of youth. Meet a raw talent with a brutal style.

COULD YOU INTRODUCE YOURSELF?

My name is Luna. I’m a photographer.

COULD YOU TELL US BRIEFLY ABOUT YOUR CAREER?

I didn’t study photography because all the good schools are private in Paris, but I don’t regret it at all! The disadvantage as well as the advantage of not having gone through school is that I knew nothing about technique, so I wasn’t boxed in by this aspect. This made it possible for me to concentrate on emotions and human encounters. Since I didn’t have a studio available, I started shooting photos from my balcony, and that’s where I discovered natural light. I didn’t grow up surrounded by photographers, and so I was lucky to be completely free to listen to myself.

WHAT DO YOU LIKE BEST ABOUT PARIS?

I love Paris for the energy it gives off, because the young people in Paris I rub shoulders with always want to create more, to throw themselves into new projects, meet new people, and we have a lot to say.
